Bankstown Touch Football Association was formed in 2022 after the successful merger of Bankstown Touch Association and Bankstown Jets Touch Association.

Both Associations shared successful tenures as stand alone associations, but have been brought together with an aim to increase participation and drive the success in Bankstown. 

BTA was formed in 1991, whilst the BJTA was formed in 2005.
